Inter House Singing Competition – 2024
Inter House Singing Competition was held on 24th August , 2024 as a co-curricular activity. The competition was in the category of solo and group. Theme for solo performance was “friendshipâ€. Theme for group song was “Monsoonâ€. Students from class III to X participated in the competition actively and sportively. Songs from Telugu and Hindi language were taken by the participants. It was a great performance from all.

A Science display was organized on 13th July 2024. The students from classes 5-10 participated in the event with enthusiasm. They were eager to create models and provided explanation for each. The students actively participated and thoroughly enjoyed the day. The models are- Physics- Magnetic butterfly, gravity doll, robot, pinhole camera, electric buzzer, parallel and series connection, density of liquids, wind mill, electricity. Chemistry- Experiments on indicators and precipitation. Biology- Microscope, lungs, heart, purification of water.

Rakhi Making Competition was held on 10th August, 2024 as part of Rakhi Festival. The time allotted to make Rakhi was one hour. Five students from each house took part in the competition. The children used different types of material and things like food grains, dry fruits, colorful beads, stones, threads – woolen, mirrors, peacock feathers, ear buds, flowers etc. The purpose of arranging such a kind of event was to explore the children’s creativity and bring out the hidden potential. It enhanced their aesthetic sense and creativity, culture and tradition.

National Science Day is Celebrated on 28th February 2024. The students from class 4th to 10th participated enthusiastically. The programme started with the theme “Indigenous Technology for Viksit Bharat”. The students of class 9th and 10th briefed about the topics Rise in digital infrastructure, Kavach, Vande Bharat, ISRO, Urban mobility, Defence, Agri technology and medicine. ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE, AND ALL MEN AND WOMEN MERELY PLAYERS - by Shakespeare An inter-house skit competition was held on 6th December 2023 for the students from Class III to X. The competition had two categories, where students from class III to Vi presented skit based on ‘PANCHATANTRA STORIES’ and students from class VII to X presented a skit based on ‘CLASSIC STORIES’. Students were all geared up and excited to watch the talent showcased by their fellow – students. The competition was a perfect combination of entertainment, talent and morals.

The Annual Sports Meet was held on 23rd and 24th November. The meet opened with the Principal lighting the torch and the torch bearers carrying the torch around in the school campus. The participants of various events went past the sports flag hoisted for the occasion. The Principal declared the sports meet open. The four houses competed with each other is various athletic events and games under the categories – Juniors and Seniors, Girls and Boys. Track and Field events were held in our Engineering college. An Inter house dance competition was organized for classes III to X on 13th Oct 2023. It was divided into 3 categories of languages with four performances each. Telugu songs were given to the children of classes III & IV English songs were given to the children of classes V, VI, VII Hindi songs with the theme of Dhol were given to classes VIII,IX,X The air became alive as the dancers, clad in vibrant colours, Whirled and twirled to the rhythmic beats of melodious peppy numbers.

All the four house Shankthi, Shanthi, Jyothi and Pragathi performed excellently. Group singing theme was celebration of Indian festivals. Festivals like Diwali , Ram Navami, Bhathukamma etc were selected. Though it was a competition all students and teachers enjoyed a lot.
